Marketing a House as "sexy"

Here's an advertisement I saw today in the paper for a house.
The "sexiness" of the house... Is this real life? It makes me wonder if the real estate agent is just bold and trying to catch people's attention or if he actually thought that was a good way to describe the home.

Re-starting my Blog, with inspiration from my MBA Course.

Looking back when I was at university and started this blog for fun, I think I didn't expect to say anything memorable or insightful. But when I review it now, I see a glimpse into my mind of the past. It's very interesting to see how much you yourself have changed over time. I hope to continue this blog.

Recently, I began an MBA at the University of Adelaide.
Living in a completely new country has been exciting. This MBA allows me to meet a variety of new people with various perspectives. Even though I have lived in Australia since December 2013 (wow, only just realize how long it's been!) I think work and travelling has kept me so busy that I don't get a chance to actually explore Adelaide/ South Australia. In fact, I still haven't been to Sydney or Melbourne which shocks many Australians.

Anyhow, for the time being I'll focus on some interesting marketing concepts and how they come up in every day life. I think marketing in Australia is quite interesting, coming from the U.S. where there is so much focus on capitalism and consumer market, I saw a huge difference. For example, the "customer always comes first" mentality is quite prevalent in the U.S. and hugely emphasized but, that's also born out of a culture of capitalism and marketing, now Australian culture is a bit different; When I went to a restaurant, I wasn't getting the services I was accustomed to, because the waiters didn't expect a tip. It's a different culture, based on it's governmental policies and social priorities that I'm learning more about each day.
